In 1944, Larry Fountain, an electrochemist, founded Fountain Plating Company to supply manufacturers with consulting expertise and qualified electroplating services unavailable elsewhere. Accepting the most difficult challenges from exacting clients earned Fountain Plating a reputation that steadily grew - as did the business. For more than 60 years, the firm has realized continual progress through advancement of knowledge and processing technology. Fountain's ability to provide a wide range of services within a 92,000 square-foot facility streamlines the production of parts that require complex or multiple stages of processing and finishing. Shot-peening, grinding, non-destructive testing, plating and painting can all be provided. This eliminates the need for shipping between various locations, minimizing turnaround times and transportation costs.
